Create a project

Projects in the FireTail platform are used to group and manage your APIs. Creating a project allows you to organize your APIs, assign ownership, and apply custom tags.

1. In the side menu, go to Platform and select Projects.
2. Click Create Project.
3. Enter a name for the project.
4. Assign Owners to the project (optional).
5. Add Custom Tags:
   • Click Add Tag.
   • Enter a Key and a Value for each tag.
6. The following options can be toggled on or off:
   • Propagate Custom Tags: Automatically inherit tags for any API created under this project.
   • Propagate Owners: Automatically inherit owners for any API created under this project.
7. Click Submit to create the project.
