Employee Logs Overview

Employee logs record each employee interaction with an AI provider, capturing when the interaction occurred, the inputs provided, and the outputs generated. Logs are enriched with tags to help identify important details, such as the presence of personally identifiable information (PII). To start receiving Employee logs you must first set up the browser extension. Learn more about setting up the FireTail AI Monitor Browser Extension.

  1. In the side menu, go to AI and under Workforce select Employee Logs.
  2. The logs are presented in a table format, displaying columns such as:
    • ID: Unique identifier of the log.
    • Date Created: The precise timestamp indicating when the log was generated.
    • Source: The origin from which the log was recorded.
    • Service: Identifies the AI provider utilized in the interaction.
    • Consumption Type: Displays how the employee interacted with the AI provider.
    • Initial Message: First message of the interaction.
  3. View log details:
    • Click on View Details in any column to view more in-depth information about a log, including:
    • Host: Hostname of the AI provider.
    • IP Address: The orignating IP address of the employee.
    • Project: The project associated with the log's source.
    • Employee & Device: Details identifying the employee and their device used during the interaction.
    • Messages: A paginated record of the complete conversation between the employee and the AI provider.
    • View Raw: An optional toggle that displays raw metadata alongside the raw request and response data.
